a house league hero is someone who single handily carries the team on his/her own. they are able to do everything themselves and produce at amazing rates.
skates from one zone through every player, hits a guy, gets the puck back, puts it between his/her legs and scores top shelf. this is the uddermost defineable example of a house league hero.
