an excuse people use on the internet when someone calls them out on their stupidity. the implication being they screwed up because they’re tired.
“i’m drunk” is a related excuse.
guy 1: obama bailed out the banks because he’s a socialist.
guy 2: actually, that was george bush.
guy 1: oh yeah… i need to go to bed.
