the term originated in the southern california poker community where lending between players would be kept track of in their respective smart phones.
as a variation, “out of the phone” is synonymous with paying off debt.
i can’t really afford to go out tonight since i’m in the phone to josh for a pretty big number.

either when a person has a lazy eye or appears in a picture to have a lazy eye. named after nba star tracy mcgrady. after a few beers, i get a pretty rude case of mcgrady eye.
