when a person, usually female, uses instagram to post pictures of themselves. these pictures are usually doctored to the point where the person is unrecognizable. these pictures are so butchered that unattractive people look semi-decently good-looking. the beer goggles of the internet.
-hey bro, did you see that girl on instagram. she is so hot.
– oh no. you have instagoggles on. if you take them off she looks like golem from lord of the rings.
