Instant Sex
a photoshop or after effects technique that produces a soft, warm, filmy feel in photos or footage. everything appears to have a gentle aura.
instant s-x is accomplished by duplicating a layer, applying a blur to the upper layer, then applying a transfer mode (usually screen) and reducing the opacity. all mentioned effects can be tweaked for the desired look, but the combination of the three is generally referred to as instant s-x.
1: this footage is terrible! oh well, nothing a little instant s-x can’t fix. -click click click- oh yeah!
