a name used for a female. originates from the “guanches” from tenerife (canary islands-spain). originally spelt “itahisa”. itahisa was a 6 year old girl who was sold to people in valencia (spain) on the 4-4-1494. a name rarely used because of its background.
on average there are less than 2 people with the name ithaysa (the new spelling) in the u.k alone.
