Jaatamean
irish (possibly just in cork, i havent checked!) word meaning: do you know what i mean?…d’ya know what i mean…the ‘what’ part is just kind of skipped over and the ‘i’ is pr-nounced as a quick ‘a’ sound (as in ‘ah’ not ‘ay’)…jaatamean is how you say it but i suppose it could be spelled ‘dyaatamean’ too. i’ve never seen it written down but it’s commonly used in speech in cork/ireland?
1st person: “i think that’s bad buzz what she did to him…he didnt deserve that jaatamean?’
2nd person: “i know ya.” (also common phrase to use!)
