jazz spot
a small area of facial hair just below the lower lip in the center; technically called a mouche. it is smaller than a soul patch or jazz patch. the style was made famous by african-american jazzmen of the 50s, 60s and 70s.
i vividly remember dizzy gillespie with his jazz spot playing his bent trumpet in concert.
