jdwhitsundays is word used to describe internet trolls who reside in the whitsundays, a region of queensland australia. jdwhitsundays are people that spend many hours a day on various social media sites, writing defamatory comments about local businesses, residents and tourism operators located in the whitsundays region. jdwhitsundays do not work in tourism and never have, yet they believe they are more knowledgeable about the local tourism industry than those who work in the business and offer unsolicited advice on how the local industry should be operating. jdwhitsundays only write negative comments and their online tirades are based on unresearched and unconfirmed information, yet they publish it as though it is fact. the motivation for most jdwhitsundays is revenge and if they are criticised by a person or local business, they retaliate by posting multiple defamatory comments online in an effort to destroy the reputations of their critics.
i disagreed with a comment made about a local tourism business and now some jdwhitsundays is personally attacking me online and writing untrue and defamatory comments about my business on multiple social media sites.
