je m’en fiche
“je m’en fiche” is a french expression that can be loosely translated to “i don’t care” or “i don’t give a d-mn.” it is similar to the french expression “je m’en fous” (i don’t give a f-ck), but far less vulgar. it is still slang though and usually used in what one could potentially describe as “street french;” albeit a softer street french than the one that would use “je m’en fous” or “j’en ai rien à foutre.”
he wants to leave me for whom? pffft, je m’en fiche! i’ll just find someone new.
