JGTT
also known as “jgt tuesday”, this acronym stands for “jerry garcia tie tuesday”. it is a day celebrated weekly on tuesdays in which the students of schools that require them to dress in shirt and tie wear the brand of the famous “grateful dead” lead vocalist jerry garcia. the ties are inspired by his paintings and are a very fashionable choice within the adolescent circuit. each tie has a specific name which can easily be identified on the back-end of the triangular bottom. it is a movement that is rapidly growing in numbers due to its relationship with being the top choice of any stylish and respectable teen.
