jimble jam

specific terminology for a rock climbing move, which may be useful when crack climbing, particularly overhanging jamming cracks. only achieveable by males. employed when one needs to rest both arms and both legs at the same time. involves inserting one’s jimbler into said crack and enlarging it until it jams in nicely (similar to a fist jam), thus enabling the climber to shake out all four limbs and generally take a good breather. requires a first-rate imagination in order to maintain the hold – thinking about accounting or thermodynamics may -actually- result in injury or death.
