someone who checks out the obituaries in the newspaper, looking for someone who recently died, who worked at a job that the job vulture wants. he then quickly sends in a resume, before the job opening is advertised, avoiding compet-tion from other job-seekers.
marlene: wow, we got a resume for bob’s job, and he was just buried yesterday! we haven’t even put out an ad yet!
