Josquin
josquin de prez was a masterful flemish composer of renissance music. born in 1450(40?) he mixed the contrapuntal style of the neatherlands witht he more h-m-phonic style of italy. he is known for “el grillo” “mille regretz” and his “missa pange lingua”. he greatly infuenced composers after him, such as palestrina.
