term used by non-bipolar people who refer to one bipolar individual to “just snap out of it”, during a manic episode or a severe mood swing. almost or all the community of bipolar individuals hate this term. it’s described as very hurtful, inappropriate, and very annoying as well. it’s recomended to not use this term around one bipolar individual or at a bipolar individual, since it becomes very irritating and can damage one’s (bipolar individual) mood.
