short for “korea math.” the math curriculum that is struggling to be the next wave to come out of south korea, following the global success of k-pop, k-drama, and k-golf.
south korean math educators are working with brand consultants from the west to try marketing k-math to the world—they want to emulate the success of singapore math to put a dent in the world of math education.
