knights & knaves alehouse is an alleged old school forum that rejects the most basic tenet of old school gaming which is that its origin and intended style of play is diy. this site is a btb one note forum that is characterized by its extreme hatred of dave arneson the primary creator and co-author of od&d. they are united in worship of gary gygax and hatred for dave arneson. this forum has gained a reputation of being the kkk of d&d forums. this site supports btb 1st ed ad&d with some lip service to od&d. the most prominent members of the knights & knaves alehouse travel to other forums such as the dragonsfoot forums where they do everything they can to get those members they disagree with banned and are often successful. this site (k&ka) is very much an our way or the highway and they will brook no dissent to the one note “one true way to play” which is btb focused with a little lip services to house rules. house rules are tolerated for that minority of older members, but it is not allowed for newer members.
