kongism
n.(singular) a statement, not necessarily entirely fact, presented with confidence and authority. often said by, but not exclusive to the kong family.
me: banana hangars, designed to ripen bananas quickly, trick the banana into thinking it is still on the tree.
you: i’m not sure that is correct, but you say it with such confidence that i am inclined to believe you.
me: alas… it is a kongism.
