the annoying flurry of congratulatory e-mails following some successful event. the kudostorm is exacerbated by people “replying to all” on a large distro list again and again.
after the successful network upgrade last night, there was a kudostorm all morning. 50 annoying e-mails all saying “great job guys” from people i don’t even know, about an upgrade i didn’t work on!
