ah langley… so many things are said about it. most people from northern virginia, especially mclean high school, langley’s rival, will remark that langley is nothing but a bunch of rich, stuck-up, sn-bs living off “daddy’s money”. it is true that langley high school parents are mostly well-off but that does not mean that all of them raise their children to be ungrateful, selfish sn-bs. in fact, every school has its population of sl-ts, drug dealers and doers, sn-bs, daddys-girls, dumb jocks, etc. langley is just the school people decide to stereotype. but any school can fit that make. additionally a lot of people that go to langley are “real”, have jobs, work hard in school and in sports.
as a result, langley students consistently have the highest sat scores in the region (not including thomas jefferson, a magnet school), are ranked highest among other regional school’s in newsweeks top 100, perform well at sports (often times beating mclean – a lot), have higher acceptance rates at ivy league colleges and in state schools such as uva and william and mary.
furthermore, when writing an urban dictionary entry, they are smart enough to make a logical arguement enumerating why it is that they are better than mclean high school, and to simply point out that people shouldn’t steroetype. look at the facts (entry number 2 especially) and you will see that when langley students say they are better at something than another – often times they are. this runs the gammit from athletics to academics.
finally, mclean, you are just jealous because you will always be remembered as the school 5 miles away that could just never compete
“good thing we go to langley high school, or else we’d be like mclean and wouldn’t be able to understand words used such as enumerated and gammit”
one of the nation’s best high schools, ranked at #98 in the nation. we may not be too good in football, track or most other fall or winter sports, but we wreck in wrestling, lacrosse and tennis. in fact, we are godly at lacrosse.

we do come from wealthy families, but kids here mind their own business and won’t pick on you unless you’re an idiot that tries to stand out. the girls here aren’t all plastic. like any other school, we have the plastic hoes, the pretty, genuine girls, the ugly girls, etc.

our rival is mclean.
man, i really wish we could win states in lacrosse, but we had the misfortune to be in the same state as langley.

f-ck, langley high school just won wrestling districts for the 12th year in a row. this is embarr-ssing.

langley high school won in tennis again? i thought tj was supposed to be good.

we may smoke weed, but at langley high school, we get into ivy league schools anyways.
people that use non-existent words such as “gammit” to gloat about how they have the “highest sat scores in the region”
if you went to george c. marshall, you would know that “gammit” is not a word. the word you were most likely looking for was “gamut”, a real word, which according to marriam webster means “an entire range or series”.
lanley high school student: “when langley students say they are better at something than another – often times they are. this runs the gammit from athletics to academics.” (directly from entry #2)
marshall high school student: silly langley high school student, gammit isn’t a word.
a great high school filled with respectful students who would not steal out of a teachers purse if she left the room (unlike other known schools) students who are well educated. have great sat scores. can have one on one relationships with the teachers. can come to school safe knowing they won’t be hurt. don’t have to worry about gangs. no pregnancies here. yes people are better off ( money wise) than most. yet are not all millionaires. and not everyone make 600,000 a year. .. like one person said. people at langley don’t judge. people judge you for going to langley. ( i never knew my parents working hard and working their way up on the job scale was a bad thing… ) people are generally nice to one another. no big time cliques,, everyone coexists. in addition, we could care less about the rivalry of mclean in all honest… its mclean who makes such a big deal… btw if you go to mclean you are better off than most people in the world too…. so don’t you dare make -ssumptions about me driving my honda to school when you drive your bmw to mclean. we are all fortunate!! and that is nothing to be ashamed of… just saying.
