Law of the Zhongguo
any interaction, strange taste or smell, near-death-experience or other such event occurring in mainland china that is inexplicable to the foreigners experiencing it.
“zhongguo” is the mandarin chinese term for china and sounds similar to the english word “jungle.”
example one:
person 1: “this is a city of 20 million people…why does the subway system stop working at 10:00pm?”
person 2: “it’s the law of the zhongguo, man.”
example two:
person 1: “what kind of meat is this? i can not tell what it is…and i only ordered vegetables…”
person 2: “it’s the law of the zhongguo. don’t ask questions and just eat it.”
