leave of abstinence
a specific period of time in which one decides, for personal reasons, that they are not going to have s-x.

“leave of abstinence” is a term used to describe when a person stops their voluntary restraint from indulging in bodily activities that are widely experienced as giving pleasure. most frequently, abstinence refers to s-xual abstinence, or abstention from narcotics, alcohol, tobacco, caffeine or food.
