contrary to the definition by captainperfecthair, lgbta simply stands for lesbian, gay, bis-xual, transgender and -ssociates. as-xuals do not -ssociate themselves with this acronym or anything to do with s-xuality as they have no s-xuality.
lgbta stands for lesbian, gay, bis-xual, transgender and -ssociates and isn’t recognized officially as a term. people should stick to using lgbt.
