when one goes to mysp-ce or cherrytap or any of the “friend list” sites and looks at someones friends profile then goes to one of thier friends pages and so-on. kind of a b-st-rd version of 6 degrees of seperation.
this practice is used alot by single guys looking to meet as many “hot” chicks as possiable.
guys also link hop to try to meet thier ugly girlfriend’s hot friends without the ugly knowing
larry: dude what did you do last night?
jynx: i was link hopping till about 2 am
