longevimonetaphobia (lon’-je-vi-mon’-e-ta-pho’-bia)

from the three words longevity, monetary and phobia. the deathly fear of living longer than one’s supply of money. a condition often developed by elders soon after retiring and exacerbated by inflation, taxes, and failed pension funds. longevimonetaphobia much more frequently shows up disguised as alimony in divorce settlements.
