Lost as a ghost
when you find yourself completely and utterly lost, either geographically, intellectually, or emotionally. this phrase comes from the idea that when a ghost wakes up, it is entirely disoriented, and may utter the phrase, “wow, i’m so lost”.
ghosttina: “oh my gosh, where am i?!”
ghostrory: “tina! you’re a ghost!”
ghosttina: “wow. i’m so lost!”
ghost rory: “yeah, tina, there’s an expression for that. al ice calls it being ‘lost as a ghost'”
