luka modric
probably the most successful croatian football (or soccer) midfielder of all time. he currently plays for real madrid cf. he used to play for tottenham hotspurs (england) until 2012, where he made the move to arguably the best team in the world. he usually plays as a central midfielder, but he can also play as an attacking midfielder or a winger.
