a toyota supra that was made from 1986.5 to 1992. though overshadowed by the the jza70 and jza80, the ma70 supra was a great performer and a very stylish car. the ma70 came with two engines, the 7m-ge i6 dohc non-turbo and 7m-gte i6 dohc single turbo.the turbo models were all equipped with the ct-26 turbo. the later jza70 model(1990-1992)came with the 1jz-gte i6 dohc twin turbo engine. in 1987, a special edition ma70 known as the “turbo a” was released as a j-pan only car (see turbo a for details).
