when one stops working, say at one’s machinist job or in their studio, makes a manhattan c-cktail, and proceeds to drink it before returning to work. variations include drinking the manhattan with a friend, in a small group, or while staring out the window.
person 1: oh sh-t, let’s go down to shawn’s studio, it’s about time he took a manhattan break.
person 2: of-ckyeah, he makes his own sweet vermouth and it’s the sh-t.
person 1: cool let’s go.
