1. used to describe a thing or a situation which deviates unfavourably from the socially acceptable norm.
word history: the verb manxed is a reletively new word which draws it’s orgin to the context of the ‘manx cat’ – a breed of cat with a rare heriditory disorder (the appearance of a lethal allele) resulting in birth witout a tail. pioneered by creators matthew and patrick in a high school biology cl-ss, the word quickly gained popularity and is now commonly used by a handful of people.
“check it out, that cat doesn’t have a tail”.
“it’s seriously manxed up”.
“so is your mum”.
