a city of just over 5000 in north central illinois. real name- m-rs-illes, but half of its residents roots can be traced back to campbellsville kentucky. due to it’s own economic downturn since the 1980’s, and a lack of enforcement of it’s munic-p-l codes it looks more like a hillbilly settlement in rural kentucky than an industrial city in france like it was named after.
