an obscure accounting term used in relation to a particular type of -sset. gangsta in nature this -sset does not depreciate, much like land it actually increases in value. the equity account that the credit goes to on an increase in mavropoulos is called a unrealised gangsta pool. often accused of -sserting gangsta accountants are a myth.
