Maybe pile
a term used when you are given loads of options, and are struggling to choose which you want. it can be a physical pile or one you imagine. you then look at all thats left in the maybe pile and choose from that selection. you may make a second maybe pile from the first maybe pile, or as many maybe piles as it takes until you’ve made your decision.
stephanie: ok, so for a dvd tonight we have, harry potter, mean girls, lord of the rings, finding nemo and sl-t wh-r-s banging b-ms 7…
jake: lord of the rings, put that in the maybe pile.
stephanie: what about the others?
jake: ok…sl-t wh-r-s banging b-ms 7 too.
