Metered apathy


a way to selectively “check out” and ignore your work surroundings. a defense mechanism where one selectively does not get involved to maintain sanity while warding off additional work.
i had to turn up the apathy meter to survive lumberg’s meeting.

its not that i don’t care i just have metered apathy.
