etymology – the spartan princess born to king leonidas was named miclaine. her beauty and intelligence was so great women with similar qualities were then referred to as miclaine like. later miclaine simply became a term for perfect girls. historians disagree on the factual evidence of this childs existence, however, the term has seen a revival in recent years.
