its opposite – the mcmansion – is a consumer of vast amounts of materials and resources. the idea of mini-homes is to provide a new, affordable, s-xy, green alternative to residential architecture.
mini-homes, ideally, have solar panels, wind turbines, combosting toilets and other advanced, energy-saving appliances. unlike the ‘trailer’ or ‘mobile home’, mini-homes are constructed like any other house, being of higher quality materials and longer lasting -ssemblies.
