Mislation

the process of an object accidentally falling to the ground, only to land up in the most illogical location imaginable. one could also use this term to describe a thought process that becomes so derailed, as to end up being the most improbable and awkward. to mislate something.
yesterday, i had a case of mislation. as i took my keys out of my pocket, my friends wedding ring fell out and i couldn’t find it. an hour later when i was in the kitchen, i found it in the drawer resting under a tea-strainer!

you’ve got to see adam when he’s been drinking, total mislation of thought. he started off telling me about his job and ended on a conversation about snail venom.
