MKZ

an acronym for mukuru kwa zuckerberg, which is a term commonly used by kenyans on twitter in reference to facebook.

the term originates from a nomenclature used to give names to many slums in kenya, for example, “mukuru kwa jenga” slum located in nairobi. the term uses the name of facebook founder mark zuckerberg and is a derogatory way of referring to facebook as a slum full of backdated and out-of-style people who on most occasions don’t have the slightest idea of what’s going on in the urban internet world of twitter, or the internet for that matter.
paid a visit to mkz today, nothing out of the ordinary, just a bunch of people whining or gloating about their relationships and tagging people in stupid photos
