mmorpg slang or lingo are words, abbreviations, and acronyms used in m-ssive multiplayer online role playing games to make speech easier, or sometimes just for fun.
mmorpg’s such as world of warcraft use this slang.
examples-
twink: a character with better than average/ the best gear for their level and cl-ss.
ftw/ftl: for the win/for the lose
pwn: a.k.a. own
leet: elite
also called “gamer speak” and sometimes incorporates l33t speak
world of warcraft
person 1: horde ftw!
person 2: we’re gonna pwn their -sses!
person 1: dude, did you see that twink with the epic staff?
person 2: yar, he’s leet. he was epixed out! = /
person 1: dude, horde ftw, that was epic leet when that dr00d pwnd the l33t mob; and my buffs worked a treat.
person 2: huh? dude, i don’t understand your mmorpg slang
