monstercam
in the movies/tv, we sometimes see the characters from the point of view of some as-yet-unseen monster. the camera frequently pans back and forth or moves through tall gr-ss or bushes. the purpose is to help build suspense.
something is stalking the survivors on lost, but we mostly only see the monstercam footage.
