when everyone in cl-ss wants to die because the teacher is going on and on about things that no one cares about, a fellow finds something that the teacher is saying and uses it to go on a series of uneducational tangents until the cl-ss is over.
example 1:

teacher: and that is why e=mc^2…

mullaney: if you judge a fish on it’s ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

teacher:why, that is correct, also imagination is more important than knowledge. actually, i love albert einstein, you know cl-ss…blah blah blah until the end of cl-ss.

-end of cl-ss bell- teacher: oh, shoot! we’re out of time! it seems that i have been caught up in a mullaney trap!
