nepp
a small ball of fuzz which can be left in, or added to a smooth roving of wool which will form a b-mp when spun. nepps can be the result of poor fibre preparation, or added on purpose to make a tweed style yarn.
this roving is full of nepps.
i must card the nepps out of this fibre.
