to discredit/erase everything said in previous sentence. similar to “syke!” or “sike” but “newrp” is usually said to interrupt someone mid sentence as if to turn them off like a television with a remote control.
“newrp” is pr-nounced with a decending tone sound like as if a electronic device is being turned off
