a small amount. not of importance. insignificant.
often used by us air force personnel, i.e. pilots, mechanics etc.
most likely derived from the thai phrase “nid noi”, which means a little bit or small amount. the usaf has based some of its aircraft and personnel in thailand during the vietnam war.
i wouldn’t worry about that. it’s nid noi.
