a quarter back, who is almost always of african descent, but with some exceptions (tim tebow), who cannot throw the ball worth sh-t but can run pretty well. they usually fail miserably in the nfl despite many of them being drafted high, like jamarcus russell, vince young, and tavaris jackson.
