Night Pheasant
a person who busies away into the nightime, finishing work for the following morning. ‘night pheasant’ is a term used more commonly in fenland vocabulary and often receives confused responses when heard.
fenlander: ‘hey, have you done that robert’s essay for tomorrow?’
dom ‘nah, got all night to do it.’
fenlander ‘oh you’re such a night pheasant’.
