No Xag

(pr-nounced noe-zaj) short for “no exaggeration.” created to replace “no joke” which doesn’t work (or sounds like the person is “joking” about something that normally wouldn’t be joked about) in many situations. (ex: my elderly grandfather fell down five flights of stars, no joke.”)
so the expression “no xag” was created.
brian: my dog was struck by lightening four times this weekend! no xag!
sean: i hate when that happens!
