no outward common sense or logic in this inflamed situation.
first coined by vietnam veterans for when an occasional bout of loco would kick in. it’s describes the state one is in when munted, having a psychotic episode or are simply in a state that they cannot cognesively comprehend what is going on around them generally caused through additional stress on an underlying psychological problem.
person 1: “what happened last night? we tried to talk to you and calm you down, but you weren’t hearing us.”
person 2: “my anxiety levels were up. must have had a bout of nocsilitis.”
also: “there goes jill again with another drunken case of nocsilitis. 3 drinks and she’s cluelessly trying to start arguments.”
