a derogatory nickname earned by house minority leader nancy pelosi (democrat, california) after a scathing speech given on january 2nd, 2017. she confused president-elect donald trump with former president bush.
which former president bush she was talking about still remains unclear, and president-elect trump had not been inaugurated at the time.
due to pelosi’s advanced age (76 years old), the question has been raised as to whether she is suffering from alzheimer’s disease or dementia. poor time sense coupled with loss of more recent memories are often symptoms of both of these conditions.
the democratic political machine has shielded her from this “incident” thus far. however all of the above has raised the question of her fitness to hold public office, and whether or not her time in politics has come and gone. pelosi has served 30 years in congress.
