nuwaubianism
the silliest religion yet conceived by man and taken seriously, nuwaubianism is a bizarre amalgam of numerous conspiracy theories, old testament cherry-picking, and black supremacism. it was founded by dwight york, a former member of the nation of islam, in the late 1980s. at its height, it had 500 followers in georgia. ahh, the humanity.
it has achieved little influence or popular knowledge, but it has added a considerable amount to the melting pot of ideological influences in hip hop culture.
to provide a definitive example of york’s form of enlightenment, this is the very apex of the absurdity of nuwaubianism:
the illuminati have nurtured a child, satan’s son, who was born on 6 june 1966 at the dakota house on 72nd street in new york to jacqueline kennedy on-ssis of the rothschild/kennedy families. the pope was present at the birth and performed necromantic ceremonies. the child was raised by former u.s. president richard nixon and now lives in belgium, where it is hooked up bodily to a computer called “the beast 3m” or “3666.”
